• Chainlink Joins Blockchain Association for Major US Tokenization Push
  • Texas, Arizona, Utah Lead States in Blockchain Trailblazer Group
  • State Blockchain Scorecard Tracks Crypto Laws and Pilot Projects

Chainlink has entered a new partnership with the Blockchain Association. This partnership will support a project called “Tokenized in America.” The U.S. is eager to see an increase in the number of people who use tokenized assets. This is an important step because tokenization can change how assets like real estate, stocks, and other valuables are owned and traded. Chainlink has shared this news on its official X account.

Texas, Arizona, Utah Lead U.S. Tokenization Efforts

Blockchain Association is located in Washington, D.C. It represents the American crypto sector. Its members include leading investors, blockchain firms and crypto projects. The two want to ensure that the U.S. has reasonable digital-asset regulations. This project is an indication of how serious the industry is about working with governments.

The project of tokenization in America allows individuals to observe the activities of states in blockchain and tokenization. The action of the federal government is looked upon by most of the crypto industry. States have a big role as well. Others are quite supportive, and others are learning.

The project has introduced a tool that it calls the State Blockchain Scorecard in order to demonstrate progress. It examines the position of every state in six categories: whether the state has a crypto task force, whether it has blockchain pilot programs, the size of the local blockchain labor force, whether it has Bitcoin reserves, the amount of political power in Congress, and whether the state is a member of the North American Blockchain Association.

The scorecard groups states into four categories and calls the leaders Trailblazers. These include Texas, Arizona, and Utah. They are progressing the most. There are then Accelerators such as North Carolina, California, New Hampshire, and Wyoming. These states are also speeding up. Initiators and Explorers are the following categories that have states in various development levels.

Chainlink Helps States Embrace Blockchain Innovation Together

This project has more interesting facts. There are good laws in half of all the U.S. states that enable the development of blockchain. Over one-third even have a dedicated group or task force that is crypto-only. Approximately a fifth have launched blockchain pilot projects to experiment with new things. Only a proportion of 16% own or intend to own a Bitcoin store in the near future.

It wishes people to understand that states can control the future of blockchain in America. Chainlink would like to assist the states to learn, share ideas, and promote good rules by collaborating with the Blockchain Association.

This new initiative indicates that the blockchain sector is willing to collaborate with the state and federal governments. It desires to create a trust and make everyone realize how tokenization can make the economy work.

The Trailblazers can be expanded to include more states in the next few months. This will translate to more employment, enhanced technology, and innovation. It may turn out that tokenization would be a natural aspect of our day-to-day lives in the United States, with the assistance of Chainlink. This is only the start of a larger process of blockchain in America.
