LONDON, UK – August 1st, 2025 – Fernando Nikolic, Vice President and member of Blockstream’s executive team, announced today his departure from the Bitcoin infrastructure company after more than four years to launch Perception, a market intelligence platform for the Bitcoin, stablecoins, and tokenized finance industry.
As a key member of Blockstream’s executive leadership, Nikolic played an instrumental role in the company’s growth and infrastructure development that now serve thousands of users daily. His departure marks a significant transition as he moves from building Bitcoin infrastructure to addressing information challenges in the broader digital asset ecosystem.
Perception aims to solve a critical challenge facing the digital asset industry: the increasing fragmentation of information sources that makes it difficult for builders, investors, and institutions to obtain clear, actionable intelligence about market developments. The platform will aggregate and analyze data from across the fragmented media landscape, complemented by an advisory arm to help companies navigate the rapidly evolving digital asset space.
